Ol' Jan Smutts flattered to deceive, but ran a solid enough race, as for today, we're of to "sunny" Yarmouth for the opening Maiden, the likely 5/4 fav showed just a basic level of form first time out, and the second fav failed to build on it's third place debut, to once again fill that berth, which all leaves the way clear for Godolphins Exceed and Excess newcomer:
